You're absolutely right. I see this all the time - special interests using climate change to promote their non-emissions related politics. You see it in vegans calling for cessation of meat eating, or claims that climate change affects [insert group] more than others, or oil companies promoting "clean[er]" fossil fuels. When will we set our personal politics aside and band together to fight the only battle - emissions?
