Wow, ditto. Ask most people what goes through their head when they meet a Black person and it's some form of dread of... exactly this article. "Act normal. What do I say to sound normal? What level of trauma has this person internalized and how soon will it manifest? Will this be a normal human interaction or will it immediately become racist because I'm not Black? I'm so uncomfortable right now." Trauma doesn't look for solutions. It looks for vindication.
