Whenever I get a bout of social media malaise, I take a trip to the mall. The mall is almost entirely populated by "ugly" people who nevertheless found a soul mate to build a life with. Most of them look pretty happy together. It reminds me that whatever skewed ideals people hold online tend to work themselves out in the realworld.
