We barely understand ourselves through natural birth. We feed ourselves powdered formula which doesn't have human milk oligosaccharides, we put our infants in daycare at six weeks, we've only just begun to understand the role of bacteria and immunity through vaginal births, and already we're considering an artificial womb? Ethics have no place until we understand the biological implications. We don't even know what we've done to humanity in the last fifty years. Let's not get hasty in the next.
