Totally agree, but that's only half the solution. Here in New Zealand gas is $9.40 a gallon, PLUS an annual petrol tax on gas guzzlers! Guess what? Everyone still drives. Not because they want to but because they have no alternative. As soon as electric cars start rolling out, that will change. But not before, no matter how expensive it gets.
