To become an adult requires three things - the ability to feed yourself, to set your own direction, and to arrive on time. But that's only half of it. The other half is to take the responsibility to do the same for others. Children, parents, strangers.
I worry that this generation who thinks it's easier to just worry about themselves, focus on their careers, simplify their life, are only half-adults. They are creating a society that will not care for others. That's not a society at all.
