Oh, man, I hate those McDonalds. What used to take about 10 seconds telling a cashier now takes several minutes while I scroll through endless menus tapping tapping tapping to get a basic order in. Then something doesn't work, and it's back to the beginning. Three times I've actually walked out of McDonalds in frustration, terminating my order.
It's the same with the supermarket self-checkout, where inevitably something doesn't compute and I have to wait for assistance from a human.
Something doesn't seem right about all this, and it it's not the AI - it's the person who coded it, the UX, and the executives who push it out. People are still the problem.
