It's funny you mention that. There is tremendous boredom in safety. Safety breeds complacency, and I feel uneasy believing I am growing soft. But isn't that the point of everything we do? To be safe, to live long and healthy lives, to be free? Sometimes achieving these things, as is possible in New Zealand, takes away the need for striving, and then boredom sets in.
