I wish Medium would require naming the writer's country. Then when we read American vitriol and crazy politics we wouldn't let that poison seep into our own countries.
As an American who moved to New Zealand I'm amazed at how radicalized Americans are on both sides of the political fence. And how that seeps into interactions online.
To be fair, so MUCH of the English language internet is dominated by American writing, research, and content.
