You are right. Whites do not get it. I don't think they ever will. I also don't think many black people wil ever get that whites won't ever get it, if that makes sense.

The way forward is less about one or the other finally understanding but rather finding a way to move forward together, without reconciliation for the past and instead an eye on the future.
