I think she was addressing the sense of duplicity in these men. They insist on staying where there are no jobs, but then complain there are no jobs. What would you say to someone who stands in the supermarket parking lot and complains, "There's no produce aisle out here!" And won't walk inside because "my friends are out here." Such a person can't be taken seriously.
The path to success is perfectly known, and she followed it. Those who refuse to walk it have no right to complain.
That's why Trump wins. For his own gain he tells them what they want to hear - and helps them not at all.
