I see AI as a godsend as it destroys the internet. Without knowing what is real, without that hard earned trust websites had to earn to get you to enter a credit card, the whole thing falls down. Which is a good thing. We'll return to curated intranets of scientific papers, we'll cry out for moderators and gatekeepers, and most of us will switch off entirely to actually (gasp) conect to live human beings irl.
It was fun while it lasted, but what comes next will be even better.
