I am happily married (thank god), but I hear in your article the flaw. You say women shouldn't look to men to be a provider, but men need to put in the effort. Men seem to struggle with this. If women project "I don't need you", then what role is he supposed to play? Because men still "need" women. For sex, of course, but also validation, friendship, partnership, love. What do women need, and if they lack for nothing why date at all?
