Have you considered that it isn't you, it's them? You sound normal to me. Everything you mentioned is a very typical workday. Internalizing rejection, dealing with decades of executive mismanagement, bothered by micromanagement, brain slow in the morning for early-morning meetings, in need of more planning from management, in need of more flexibility, burnout, time blindness, executive dysfunction, tired all the time - does it help you to know that we all deal with this each and every day (including your managers)? Perhaps skipping therapy for an assertiveness course would help you. You don't need to apologize for the ineptitude of management. You are still a good worker.
