Couldn't agree more. I think the only reason hydrogen gets the fanfare it does is so that humanity can continue to burn something. Solar and other renewables present anticlimactic energy - you turn it on and... nothing. No heat. No explosion. No drama. That's hard for some people to get their kinetic head around. So they turn away from anticlimactic to anticlimatic.
