As long as you focus on race, you will not find the solutions you seek. Housing, for example, is about income. Even though it is a legacy issue, solving racism will not get a person a better house in a better neighborhood. Calling it unconscious bias or racism does nothing to provide a home loan, a local bank, or home improvement programs. You could make so much more impact by solving the direct problem rather than approaching it from skin color. That's the takeaway you could hear from the comments, if you were not so focused on race. Which result is more important to you?
