Ammonia fueled cars are a non-starter for one basic reason - efficiency. Ammonia electrolysis requires electricity that could have gone directly into an electric car. It's an unnecessary step, with an added cost.
For large transport like shipping where battery technology hasn't caught up to energy density and no grids are available for a recharge, yes. For cars? No.
