A solar furnace reaches temperatures up to 6,330 degrees farenheit, double what you're saying is required and more than enough for manufacturing - once used.
As for the durability of collectors, they are no more or less than current collectors - oil rigs, derricks, platforms, pipelines, factories. In fact, they are more efficient for having far fewer material parts requiring replacement maintenance. I don't think 0 entropy is a realistic bar to set.
As for trucking, hydrogen fuels cells efficiently solve the weight problem of battery storage. It does this for shipping and airlines, too.
There is no argument that the solar equivalent of fossil fuels is far superior to current renewables. That said, we must continue to replace fossil fuels at all costs. That's the message to stay on.
